PMCB EPR compliance: 5 things to do
The new regulations on the recycling of building products and materials (PMCB) will come into force in the next few days. Not ready yet? The EPR for building products will kick off on January 1, 2023. Ecomaison can help manufacturers and distributors in the sector to keep up to date with their new recycling obligations. Here are the 5 things you need to do now.

As of January 1, 2023, manufacturers of building products and materials must comply with the PMCB EPR. Ecomaison has thought of everything and provides guidance to its members. Our services facilitate compliance.
- Get your unique identification number. This number is proof that you are fulfilling your recycling obligations. It proves that you're on the national register maintained by ADEME, the French agency for ecological transition. We take care of all the formalities. Ecomaison will send it to you within three working days of your registration.
- Includeyour unique identification number in your general terms and conditions of sale (GTC). This will be required starting January1, as well as in any contractual document. We provide templates for including this number on em.dafox.co.
- Communicatewith your customers and suppliers. We provide templates for informational letters on em.dafox.co.
- Codeyour products by applying the eco-contribution amount. The coding system proposed by Ecomaison, based on the fee schedule, is available on the website em.dafox.co.
- Please publishyour new 2023 rates, which include the eco-fee, as soon as possible. Billing for the eco-fee will be mandatory. Ecomaison’s eco-fee schedules are available on the em.dafox.co website.
